The Ondulit advantage

Thanks to their multilayer composition and the properties of the aluminum foils, our panels are much more heat reflective than a traditional metal roofing product of the same color. This means much more comfort inside the building and  substantial savings in cooling energy costs. In case of natural or white aluminum upper finish these benefits are maximized, as our panels are able to reflect and re-emit up to the 90% of the  thermal radiation allowing the transmission of just 5% of the heat to the area below.

Where annual cooling costs dominate or where solar radiation is a concern, a highly reflective and ventilated Ondulit roof is optimal for reducing energy consumption and for guaranteeing thermal comfort inside the building even without the adoption of additional insulation. An Ondulit panel is able to guarantee a level of thermal comfort comparable to the one provided by a 1.5” PUF sandwich panel (comparative test of thermal comfort performances between different roofing materials).
